Petra was my everything...She came to me to show when she was 9 months old...I finished her championship at 15 months of age in 23 shows. I was able to purchase her when she was almost 3 years old and she became the queen of our couch. She produced 2 litters for us by CH. Keeper's Midnite Marauder and has many children and grandchildren and even a few great grandkids too. She has left a huge hole in our hearts which will never be filled.
I know she is romping in the sweet green fields over the Rainbow Bridge....

WILD WEST'S INDIAN SUMMER, OFA-FAIR, TH, Cerf ( Carrier - Long Hair Gene)
(CH.KEEPER'S MIDNITE MARAUDER X CH. GUARDMAN'S PETRA OF LONE PINE)
10/13/99 - 11/03/04
Summer came back to us due to her owners health issues when she was almost 2-1/2 years old. Summer hated the show ring. Her idea of the show ring was to lay down and roll on her back when the judge came to examine her:):) She was extremely loving and gentle, but her knickname was "Compressor" as when she got excited, she started breathing REALLY heavy!!!
Summer presented us with an awesome litter in September of 2002, out of the very handsome, CH. Cardea's Heartbeef of America. One of those pups is already a CHAMPION and another is on his way to his championship!!! This was the only litter she produced.
In July of 2004, we found out that Summer had a tumor on her liver, then on November 3, 2004, Summer lost her battle with liver cancer. We will miss this wonderful girl forever....

Mac was one of the greatest ambassadors to this breed. He loved the show ring and excelled at public education. Although he never had any formal obedience training, he seemed to always know when to sit or down and when to calm down! He loved greeting people in wheelchairs, especially children. One time in the ring a judge with a cane, thumped him on the chest with the cane and said loudly, "Is he going to bite me?" Mac just wagged his tail and I replied back to the judge, "No, but I will, if you thump him again with that cane!" He placed Reserve that day to a major, but the thump didn't phase him! We traveled extensively for 4-1/2 years. Then it was time for retirement. Through the next year Mac brooded and pouted as he was no longer going with me to the shows. I made the decision to place him with our dear friends, Jay & Jen Chamberlain. Just a short time after Mac went to live with them, Jay was deployed to Iraq for the first time. Mac became Jen's constant shadow and huggybear. Mac thrived in his new home and was a constant source of enjoyment for Jay & Jen.
Mac led a fantastic life greeting over 80,000 people in public education events and was a big hit as the Bully in the 1998-1999 Honda Odyssey commercial. We were very proud of this boy, and know what a superb job Jay & Jen did with him his last 3 years! He was never dog aggressive and loved to play with all of our puppies. He would lay up against the puppy pen, and they would gnaw on his ears and nose through the pen, and then he'd lick them all!
The day before Thanksgiving, Mac became very ill and the vet determined it was pneumonia. Mac was put to sleep just 3 days later. His lungs had collapsed and even with constant therapy, he was in severe pain and distress. There were shadows on the xray which the ER vet felt were tumors. It was the hardest decision of Jay & Jen's life as Mac was not just a dog to them, he was their son. Macaroni looked first at Jay and Jen and then at Brian and I as if he was saying goodbye to each of us personally. He could not hug us as he always did, but we all hugged him until he was gone...He will be forever missed by all who came in contact with him.
MacGregor was bred by Tamara Cady of Reprisal Bullmastiffs. Thanks Tami, for Mac. I know he did you proud too:)

WILD WEST'S TERRA COTTA, PH .39/.50, CA (Carrier - Long Hair Gene)
(CH. Cardea's Heartbeef of America, OFA-GOOD, EL, CA x Wild West's Dahteste, OFA-Good,EL)
5/8/03 - 1/11/06
Beautiful Tera lived
in Alaska with her owners Debbie Parrott and Jim Spaulding and her two housemates, Harley
and Dusty. She was very well loved and very spoiled.
Tera died very tragically from anti-freeze poisoning. This was NOT something
that was in her owners yard, but SOMEONE deliberately poisoned Tera to end her short life
that still had so much living to do.....
Tera had 12 points toward her championship and only needed one major to finish. Her
owners had already made plans to bring Tera down to the lower 48 to finish her
Championship this summer as there are no other Bully's competing in Alaska. She was
one of the best females I've ever bred. I was fortunate to have Jim & Debbie fly me up
to show her August 2004, which was a great thrill for me. I am glad I got to spend
quality time with her and get to know her as an adult.Tera presented her owners with a
litter in May 2005. Her puppies owners all share in this grief. She leaves a huge
hole in everyones hearts who knew her.She had such a zest for life! Rest easy
sweetheart....

My sweet, sweet girl Destiny, left us way to early... She was my couch buddy and would lay across my lap at night while I read a book and I'd use her back as my book rest. She was the the most cuddly Bully I've ever had... She would snuggle into you and I'd love to gather her loose skin into handfuls and carress them. Her coat was as soft as velvet... It was like wearing an old chenile sweater and gathering the folds of fabric in your hands....She will be forever missed here and by all that knew her... Desi or Miss Piggy as most people knew her by, greeted many hundreds of people in public education events. She produced one gorgeous litter for us. The hole she left in my heart will never heal. Her beautiful box sits on my mantle along with our other Bullies watching over us forever.....I hope she is running and kicking up her heals with her relatives over the Rainbow Bridge.....

Dani was from our litter of Mecca & MacGregor. Dani produced 2 litters for us.
Dani is pictured above at almost 6 years of age. Dani was the sweetest girl and loved everyone and everything! She moved to Switzerland with her owners Jay & Jen Chamberlain about a year and a half ago. Unfortunately earlier this year she was diagnosed with Cushings and diabetes. She used to wrestle with Jay daily and then cuddle with him in his recliner chair in the evenings. She loved hunting frogs in the evening in Geneva and loved playing with her daughter Tali. Jay and Jen did everything they could for Dani and Jay became very knowledgeable about giving Dani shots for her diabetes when needed. Dani will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Beautiful Rio lived with and was loved by Tom & Vickie Andrews of Caledonia, OH. She was the third pup to finish from Mecca's litter. She was named for her beautiful momma, by Vickie. Rio loved the show ring and finished quickly. In July 2005, she presented her owners with a lovely litter of 9 pups! She very suddenly became sick in April of this year and the the vet thought she had a bladder infection. It turned out to be bladder cancer, and she died just 2 short weeks after becoming sick. She will forever be missed by all that knew her and loved her.

It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the passing
of my beloved boy, Richie.
From the moment he was born, I knew he was special. By the time he was 6 weeks old I
knew I could not let him go and had to keep him. He would yip and toss his head like
a woman with long hair and then fall over, causing anyone watching to laugh. He was such a
comedienne from the start. Even last night when we had a house full for fathers day,
he was trying to impress everyone by free stacking for bait:):)
Richie traveled all across the United States to shows, sometimes with his friend Jeannie.
He was a great dog with a great temperament. Only once did he have a sharp
word and that was for his son Quincy, who postured and growled at him. He merely tweaked
the end of Quincy's nose, turned around and strolled off, leaving his boy in the dirt:):)
hehehe He loved the pups and would allow them to crawl and nibble on him. He
was my couch buddy in the evening.
Everyone that had the chance to meet this special boy, knew that he was not a dog that
wanted a lot of mushy mushy lovin. He would greet you, snuggle for a second and then
be off. He had way to many things to do in life than to sit still...
Today when he laid his head upon my chest, it was his way of telling me it was time...God
it was awful. He looked at me with those big black eyes of his, and said goodbye.
As I held him and his breath expired, it was a relief for me to know that he was
now at peace.
At the year 2000, National, he was misaligned by jealousy. It was reported that he
was dying of a RARE disease that no one knew what it was... Well, That was almost 9 years
ago and I think he proved them wrong!!! Richie had a slow bleed going on in his
intestines, that is what took him today.....
He has been a remarkable stud dog, producing 14 American Champions to date with one
Canadian Champion who was the #1 dog in Canada for 2 years! He reproduced himself in
over 70% of his get. Not many stud dogs have EVER been able to accomplish that.
His greatest show accomplishment was when I showed him at the supported entry show for the
Far West Specialty in Ventura and he won Best of Breed over an entry of 54 Bullmastiffs!
My daughter Courtney and our friend Adrienne Hill, both used Richie as a Junior
showmanship dog. He really made them work at it. He was NEVER a "Push
Button dog", hehehehe
Richie had many knick names: Richie Rich (given to him by Linda Mattson), Ricky-D,
Mondo-Wondo, Ricky Ricardo, Sugar Bear and finally old man. He greeted everyone that
came to our home with a smile on his face. He also had greeted several thousand
people when we would do meet and greets at the Meet The Breed Booths at various shows.
He LOVED the attention!
Please take a moment to hug your Bully kids today and thank God you still have them.
Thanks for letting me share some of the stories of my awesome boy. There are 11-1/2
years of them, and I will treasure them always... There will never be another boy, like my
Richie......

From the moment we brought Lexy home, she lit our house up! She was a very happy pup and that carried on into her adult life. Her life was tragically cut short by brain cancer. Her full brother also died of this same horrid disease just a short time before she did. Courtney showed Lexy and had won 5 points with her, when her topline went off and so did her bite. We were never able to finish her Championship, but Lexy was a great ambassador to our breed and greeted hundreds of people at public education events! She LOVED meeting new people and new animals. She especially loved the horses we had at our house for a short time. She would run the fence line with them and had a great time. She was my daughters dog and slept in her room. She will be forever missed by everyone who loved her and who ever met her.

Beautiful Bella died just 10 days short of her 8th birthday. From the time she was born she was a go-getter and finished her championship with ease. She was the light of her owners, Rich, Courtney and Sophia Peralta's eyes. Bella was a naughty puppy and when Courtney came to meet her for the first time, she growled and snapped at her at just 9 weeks of age! Court looked at her and shook her finger at her and said, "I don't think you should talk to your mommy that way!" and Bella went limp and an instant bond was formed. I had the great pleasure of showing Bella to some of her points, but her mommy Courtney really made her shine in the ring! Bella and her family moved to Oregon a few years ago and she has been living it up as a retired girl!
About a month ago, Bella wasn't acting right so Rich took her in to the vet and she was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of Lymph Cancer. It was just a month later that she is gone. She will be so greatly missed by all of Court and Rich's family and us. Bella was the 4th pup to finish from Mecca's litter, thus earing her momma her Copper ROM status.
