We have been in this wonderful breed for 26 years now! It doesn't seem like it could be that long, but it is.... Our dogs have always been a part of our family first and then show dogs second. Our first girl, Kiva, was 3 years old when we got her and had severe hip dysplasia, so we had her spayed. The following year we bought Rex (who became our first champion:CH. Tomlyn's Rex, OFA-Good) & Moreta (Wild Heart's Dragonlady), then 2 years later we bought a brindle male named Thorn (who was our 2nd CH, CH Wild Heart's Tumbleweed Thorn) and the rest is history! We had our dogs first, then we raised our family. Both of our kids, Thomas (24) and Courtney (22) share a love for our dogs. They are both grown now, but still enjoy them.. We've lived on Brian's family rancho(15 beautiful acres) for the last 19 years and it's been a wonderful way to raise the kids and the dogs! We took 7 years off of showing and breeding dogs to get the kids through the toughest years (including home schooling my son for 2 years), but then jumped back into the dog show world full bore! To date we have had 26 Champions that we've either bred, co-bred or owned. There will be many more in the near future! She is named for her grandpa MacGregor (CH. Keeper's Midnite Marauder) who Jay & Jen shared their lives with until he passed in November 2004. Due to the strict laws in Switzerland, Tali had to take a temperament test in September 2009, to make sure she is not a 'dangerous dog'. She is the only dog out of 30 that came to the testing that received a 100%, meaning she had the best temperament of all the dogs present. The testers were very impressed with her!
