We have been in this wonderful breed for 23 years now! It doesn't seem like it could be that long, but it is.... We have had a lot of fantastic dogs that I will be forever proud of and glad that they shared their time here with us. Our first girl, Kiva, was 3 years old when we got her and had severe hip dysplasia, so we had her spayed. The following year we bought Rex (who became our first champion:CH. Tomlyn's Rex, OFA-Good) & Moreta (Wild Heart's Dragonlady) and the rest is history! We had our dogs first, then we raised our family. Both of our kids, Thomas (21) and Courtney (19) share a love for our dogs. They are both grown now, but still enjoy them.. Courtney now works for professional handler, Ric Plaut and loves every minute of it! My only worry is that she will bring home a Sporting dog!! We've lived on Brian's family rancho(15 beautiful acres) for the last 15 years and it's been a wonderful way to raise the kids and the dogs! We took 7 years off of raising dogs to get the kids through the toughest years, but then jumped back into the dog show world full bore! To date we have had 17 Champions that we've either bred, co-bred or owned. There will be many more in the near future! Phoenix then placed 2nd in the 12-18 class in the regular specialty under Mr. Billy Brittle.
